We are looking for an emergency veterinarian for our small animal group practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Care Animal Hospital has provided high-quality veterinary care and friendly client service since 1970, and we need a doctor with solid medical skills who can help us carry on this tradition.
Our guiding principle – to provide for the vast majority of a pet’s health care needs “under one roof” – has led Care to invest in good people, advanced training, and up-to-date equipment. As a result, we are able to confidently treat a wider range of medical and surgical cases than most general practices, both day and night. This ability to treat challenging cases in-house has helped us earn many loyal clients, and these pet-owners generally have the resources needed to provide high-quality medicine.
Care’s after-hours emergency service has benefited both our clients and our doctors. With 24-hour coverage, our emergency vets are never forced to discharge a critical case before it is appropriate. Our doctors also have the advantage of seeing their hospitalized cases through to discharge, with supportive feedback from the other doctors to ensure continued growth as a veterinarian. Our dedicated emergency technicians and client service staff also allow our vets to focus on patients, not paperwork, and an on-call surgeon is always available. Our state-of-the-art 22,000 square foot facility includes: new Smart DR digital radiography system, ultrasound, full in-house laboratory, CT scanner, endoscopy, arthroscopy, stem cell therapy, dental suite, biological safety cabinet, laser and ultrasound therapy, and a rehabilitation center.
Care offers a premium salary plus the other benefits any doctor would expect, such as: quality medical coverage, 401(k), vacation, continuing education allowance, professional liability coverage, and more. Interested candidates can send their resume in confidence to firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact Dr. David Aul directly at (847) 962-5257.
