The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) is seeking a Lasix Veterinarian to join its team.
The Lasix Veterinarian will be responsible for administering Lasix on race days.
Qualified candidates should hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree, a current NY State veterinary license (or the ability to become licensed in NYS) and have some equine experience. Familiarity with thoroughbred or standardbred racing and industry protocols is a plus. This position requires working on site at all three NYRA tracks during live race meets: Aqueduct Racetrack, BelmontPark, and Saratoga Race Course. A housing stipend is provided for the Saratoga Race Meet.
