The employee is responsible for providing content expertise in comparative or veterinary physiology, engaging in scholarly advancement of the science, and incorporating this discipline into the curriculum. The employee is expected to assume various teaching roles, as required to meet curricular demands and as assigned by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. The employee will provide support in the training of students in all levels of the DVM curriculum and will serve as a college wide resource in veterinary physiology.
Academic rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Distribution of effort (FTE) will be negotiated based on the expertise of the candidate and curricular needs.

Essential Job Duties
Responsibilities include teaching physiology to DVM students during their veterinary education as a content expert in our integrated veterinary curriculum, facilitation of problem-based learning groups, and participation in scholarly activities.
Qualifications completion of advanced training including a PhD in physiology or another relevant advanced degree. A DVM or equivalent degree is desirable but is not required for this position.
