OLDTOWN VETERINARY HOSPITAL, located in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a full time associate veterinarian for our well established and growing 4-doctor small animal practice. We have been AAHA accredited for over 30 years! Our busy but relaxed environment and compliant clientele allow our doctors to utilize and develop specialized skill sets. We believe in nurturing a sustainable work/life balance, and this position offers a four-day work week with one Saturday a month, 8am-12pm.
The ideal candidate must practice efficiently within a team environment with high standards of care. Experience preferred but new graduates will be considered, as our tenured veterinarians and compassionate, well utilized support staff are able to provide mentorship and collaboration for developing skill sets. About our practice:
Advanced dentistry including dental radiology and high speed drill
Diagnostic quality ultrasound
Advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in North Carolina.
Excellent medicine and surgical skills
Open communication style with staff and clients alike
