| Betz Veterinary Services is a family-friendly practice located in beautiful Southeast, Coastal Georgia. Located within 30 minutes of Jacksonville and Amelia Island, Florida you can experience the small town life with quick accessibility to the hustle and bustle of the big city or the cool breeze of the Atlantic. We are a privately owned, full service with mobile clinic house-call availability, mixed animal, integrated medicine practice. With the recent completion of our 2500 sqft. Expansion and renovation of the existing practice, we are able to expand our services and work in a comfortable, state-of-the-art facility. Our hospital now includes a newly renovated surgical suite, a radiology room, a client consult/"quiet room", separate dog and cat rooms, an isolation ward, as well as a comfortable lounge and bathroom with shower. We are open Monday – Friday, 8:30-5:00 and offer (limited) emergency services, as we are located within 40 minutes of multiple excellent Specialty/Emergency hospitals. If you are interested in extended hours and/or emergency services, the possibility, and demand, is there. We offer comprehensive health care and prevention to our patients, and work with our clients as a team to practice quality medicine. We offer surgical and dental services, in-house IDEXX Diagnostic Laboratory as well as access to IDEXX Reference Laboratory services, DR Radiology, DR Dental Radiology, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Therapeutic Ultrasound, Summus (K-Laser) Therapeutic Laser technology, Stem Cell Therapy, Tonopet and full Pharmacy services. In addition to traditional medicine, our practice owner, Dr. Christy Betz,offers TCVM and VSMT, Chinese Herbal services as well as Dietary and Whole Food Supplement consultations. Veterinarian/Relief Veterinarian Position Available: All experience levels will be considered; NEW GRADS are welcome to apply, and would be well-supported, with three veterinarians who are happy to provide diverse mentorship. Part-time and/or Full-time position available with flexible scheduling options. Ability to perform and assist in soft tissue surgery, dental procedures and patient appointments is a must. Ability to work with the public/client communication (face-to-face or mask-to-mask during COVID) is required. Interest in and/or an open mind to areas including Equine medicine, exotics, and Alternative medicine is a plus! Interest in and/or advanced knowledge in Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Ultrasound, etc. are a major plus!! Strong interest in areas not mentioned are also a plus!!!
