Fox Valley Animal Hospital of Crystal Lake, Illinois is seeking a full or part time Veterinarian proficient in small animal medicine and surgery. Small mammals and exotics are optional and a small part of our practice. Our multi-doctor practice offers digital radiography (full body and dental), dentistry, ultrasound, Cornerstone software and integrated in-house Idexx lab equipment for bloodwork and urinalysis. 

We have great caring, long term support staff and terrific clientele.  We are a few minutes from the Companion Animal Specialty and Emergency Clinic, so referral is easy and there is no need for emergency duty.  Doctors enjoy one weekday off per week, plus Sundays off, and short Saturday hours (8:30am to 2pm).  We do our best to take care of our clients but still leave at 6pm and get home to our families and pets. Week day hours are 8:30am to 6pm with an 1 1/2 hour lunch. Part time hours are also available and can be discussed.

Our full time benefit package includes health insurance, disability, life, liability, 401K, licensing and dues, as well as paid CE (3 days and $1500) and two weeks paid vacation.  There is a $10,000 sign-on bonus and salary is commensurate with experience and can be negotiated either production or non-production.  (Full time benefits start at 30 hours per week.)  

Our community offers two beautiful lakes for swimming, boating and fishing.  There are also several nature trails and dog parks nearby and a bike trail within minutes from the practice.  Crystal lake has its own Raue Center for the Arts for music and cultural fans, and our community is abundant with shopping centers and restaurants. Crystal Lake is also conveniently located on the Metra train route from Harvard to the city Chicago, making it easy to commute downtown.

At Fox Valley you will be allowed the freedom to practice good quality medicine combined with common sense, and have the opportunity to gain insight from our experienced veterinarians by consultation or mentorship.  At this time there are two full time and one part time veterinarian working at Fox Valley with over 50 years combined experience to help mentor new graduate veterinarians or new veterinarians in medicine and surgery.
