Steinbeck Small Animal Clinic is a progressive, privately-owned small animal (dogs and cats) veterinary practice located 15 miles from the beach in Monterey County. Our excellent doctors and staff offer the highest quality, compassionate, individualized care for our patients. We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian FT/PT (2-4 shifts/week) to join our team who has excellent communication skills; strong medical and surgical skills; and can work with clients who want the best for their pets. Applicants need to have internship or equivalent work experience and the desire to work with colleagues who enjoy learning, improving and sharing their practice of veterinary medicine. Steinbeck Small Animal Clinic opened in 2015. It is a stand-alone building, part of the Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinic’s Salinas Practice. The hospital was created with the purpose of serving the pets in our local community while also giving back, in the form of supporting shelters and rescue operations. The hospital is cozy with two exam rooms; a main treatment area equipped with dental care and digital dental radiology; therapeutic laser; complete IDEXX lab equipment; mobile ultrasound; future possibilities for CT scan and much more! Our greatest asset is our team, our staff of RVTs, and veterinary assistants is unparalleled. A successful doctor at Steinbeck Small Animal Clinic will have the needed skills to apply their education and experience to work with dedicated clients, patients and staff – and the desire/enthusiasm to take on challenging cases.
