Looking for an energetic associate that wants to work with 3 other full time veterinarians at a small animal practice in lovely Davie County, NC. We do mostly dogs and cats, but do see some pocket pets. We have an experienced team and practice high quality medicine. We do a lot of specialized surgeries and have full in-house diagnostic equipment. All after hour cases are referred to the local emergency clinic. Our business also offers boarding, grooming and day care which keeps us busy! One of our associates has specialized training in reproduction, so we do see a fair amount of puppies which is always fun! Saturday hours are only 8-12 and the shifts would be shared. Full time weekly hours would be 32-36 hours, and a part time schedule can also be accommodated if needed- we are flexible. Willing to mentor for surgery, ultrasound or any other desired skills for younger associates. The owner has 27 years of experience and has owned/operated the hospital for 18 years.
Duties as normally performed by a veterinarian, including medicine and basic surgical skills. They should be physically able to perform examinations, communicate with clients and have ability to do basic technical skills like performing aspirates and putting in catheters.
