We are seeking an experienced associate veterinarian or new graduate to join our AAHA accredited hospital & team. We are a multi-doctor, progressive, fast paced, full service veterinary hospital also offering boarding, daycare, grooming and training. We are looking for a dynamic associate who is eager to provide high quality medicine to our patients and compassion to our clients. Interest in exotics is a plus!

Located in eastern Pennsylvania, this area offers an exciting atmosphere no matter what your interest.  We are surrounded by locations that offer opportunities for hiking, skiing, biking, as well as sporting and musical events.  Experience New York City, or Philadelphia within 90 minutes travel time.

Practicing high quality medicine is made easier with our amazing team, in-house laboratory, digital radiography, therapy laser, and visiting specialists. Here are just some of our services:

• State of the art Surgical Suite and diagnostic facilities with our trained Certified Veterinary Technicians to monitor your pets needs during all procedures.
• Our well-equipped laboratory enables us to perform testing quickly and accurately, and provides you with timely results for your pet.
• Complete dental suite including digital radiographs, which is overseen by our Dental Technician.
• Digital radiography allows images to be ready for immediate review, with capabilities to have images copied or emailed to any referral facility. It also helps us to be more environmentally safe.
• Surgical microscope for Avian and Exotic procedures.
• Ultrasonography for additional diagnostic options.

  Job Responsibilities:

• Build a rapport with clients
• Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, nutritional needs and preventative care
• Perform physical exams and diagnostic, surgical, medical, and dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care
• Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine
• Maintain client-patient medical and surgical records
• Assist in the development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree
• Licensure in good standing
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to self-manage your time
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine
• Professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
• Commitment to ongoing educational growth
