Responsibilities / Qualifications: The Hospital Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations and people management within our fast-paced, seven doctor veterinary hospital. The Hospital Manager is responsible for the business management and People Resources.
The Primary Functions of the Hospital Manager Include (but not limited to):
Creating and maintaining a healthy and engaged hospital culture
Experience with Change Management

Create a team aligned with practice’s values and mission
Upholds our core values and standards
Successful management of all aspects of people development from training and on boarding to continued career development of our valued teammates
Supporting the needs of the Doctors through coaching the team on opportunities
Sound personal judgment in decision-making
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Conflict management skills
A commitment to exceptional client service
Ambassador for the hospital in the community
Meeting and exceeding business goals and objectives
Previous P&L management experience which includes demonstrated success driving results
Experience with recruiting, interviewing and selecting high quality teammates
Experience leading a diverse work force and establishing a positive, "can do" team environment
Experience leading in a customer focused veterinary practice or service environment
Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
Availability to occasionally work uncommon hours and overtime, and to be subject to recall for business emergencies.
Qualifications: 3 years or more of managing a business and leading a team, Certified Veterinary Practice Manager preferred, Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
