Associate Veterinarian: Yes, we offer a signing bonus and great compensation—but our practice is the benefit you’ll appreciate the most.
Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital is committed to being at the top of the pack when it comes to providing high quality medical care and customer service to the pets and pet parents of Portland, Oregon. We are beloved by our clients, have a team that doesn’t quit and are always ready to do our best with a positive attitude.
We are a full-service, inclusive hospital with a focus on open communication and team member satisfaction. We work hard to incorporate the input, thoughts, ideas, feelings, and concerns of every single one of our employees into our operating ethos. We expect all team members to take an active role in developing both the practice and each other. We are more than a close team—we’re family. Only when we treat one another like family can we provide the level of care and communication our patients and clients deserve.
We just opened our newly built, state-of-the-art surgical center in February 2021 and the rest of our facility has been recently remodeled to give us more space and a greater opportunity to provide our patients the best care.
Nestled in the charming northwest corner of Portland, our hospital is within walking distance of a dazzlingly diverse array of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, wine bars, and brewpubs, not to mention some of the area’s best schools. Our doctors and staff enjoy the bustle of the city, as well as ample opportunity to venture out into nature. Mountain hikes, ocean beaches, and popular river recreation spots are just a short drive away, as are some of Portland’s most beloved art, music, and theater venues.
