The Piedmont Equine Practice, located in prime Virginia horse country, is seeking two hospital specialists (ACVS, ACVIM, ACVECC) to join our team. The program and practice are well established (17 years and 27 years respectively). We currently have an ACVS boarded surgeon with 17+ years of experience. The three specialists will share all duties including coverage of elective and emergency medical and surgical cases both in and out of hours. Scheduling will be flexible based on areas of interest, with a strong focus on support of healthy work-life integration. The ideal candidates will have an interest in emergencies, an established or developing skill set in a complementary elective field, and the ability to be a part of a collaborative, collegial team.
