This position is for a small animal veterinary associate. There is the opportunity to branch out into large animal medicine if interested but it is not required. We have a 4 day work week for both doctors and technicians. There is no after hours on call, with 3 emergency hospitals within a 45 min drive. Each doctor has one surgery day that typically start and end with surgery patients. The surgery doctor is expected see sick patient drop-off appointments in between surgery with back-up from doctors on scheduled appointments. The other 3 days are spent in scheduled appointments. The schedule is a majority of healthy pets with sick pet visits interspersed. We do reserve several "same day" appointments for the unexpected calls.
