We are currently seeking a Relief Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. The position offers ongoing day and night shifts, covering 7a-7p and 7p-7a. The ideal candidate will have experience with dogs and cats, with no exotics. The EMR system used is Cornerstone/Instinct. On average, there are typically 5-10 cases per shift. This position involves solo DVM coverage, with some shifts having a swing doctor from 12p-10p. The hospital is supported by 2 ICU Tech/Assistants and 2 ER Tech/Assistants. Required procedures include Lac repairs, wound cares, thoracentesis, abdominocentesis, pericardiocentesis, closed reductions, and tarsorrhaphy.
